ACT or SAT retake

I'm an upcoming senior and have last minute chances to retake tests. I got a 2040 on my SAT and 33 on my ACT. I believe the 33 is better than the 2040 and i know i can do a lot better on the ACT considering i only crammed for two days before the test. but i feel like there's nothing to lose if i retook both the tests in the fall. Any suggestions? Study tips?

please help

A 33 is the equivalent of a 2220. I think your time might be better spent retaking the ACT. You can probably improve to a 34 or 35, and that’s 60 to 120 points higher in SAT terms. Unless you think you can improve by 200+ points on the SAT, stick with the ACT.

ok thanks. um the chart that i looked at said that 33 equaled a 2190. Do you have a reliable conversion chart i can look at?

think that ur act score is high enough though sat score is not that great…but if u r not that sure that u would be able to hit 2200+ in sat1…y not spend more time on writing on personal essay and supplements?

you can do a 34+ its not too hard. what were your subscores on the 33?

English 34
math 35
science 34
reading 28 (I completely brain farted and ran out of time)

combined english/writing 31

I just feel like i didn’t really prepare for this test at all. I just did the practice tests on sparknotes two days before. lol.

any suggestions on how to prepare for the fall test?
