is it a good idea for me to sumbit my act score rather than my sat score for UCs?
got 32 on ACT
1800 on SAT

32 definitely

ACT by miles.

so when i submit my app, do i not submit the SAT score at all?
so i just submit my ACT score?
can i do that?

I would say send the ACT, according to converting score ( SATscore multiplied by .015) the 1800 would be a ACT of 27.

Most colleges take either the SAT or the ACT. Your ACT score is higher than your SAT score when comparing on conversion charts, hence, you should fare better sending only the ACT score in the application process.

so basically i can use ACT to REPLACE my SAT score and colleges are ok with that?
but i know that for UCI, in the past 2 years, no one had submitted their ACT but only their SAT
is there a downside in submitting the ACT rather than SAT in?
