ACT or SAT? Where should I focus? opinions, plz

Hey,
So I took the SAT in Jan. 08. Got: 690 M 690 CR 600 W. (1380/1980).

Took the ACT in Sept.08 and got: 35(eng), 33(math), 28(read), 26(sci -dangit!!!) (30.5 = 31). *dont have writing score yet.

Only taken each ONCE. Trying to decide which one I should focus on from here, so I can focus my energies and hopefully improve some more before app's are in (i'm a senior).

The ACT conversion chart (<a href="http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/pdf/reference.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/pdf/reference.pdf</a> )
puts my 31 composite at a 1380/1600 (exactly what I got)
and my 31 composite at 2060/2400 (80 points higher than my 1980).

So, any opinions which of the two I should focus on? In other words, which one would probably be easiest to improve upon?? Pushing up my writing and math/cr in SAT, or the read/sci (ouch) on the ACT?

Another thing to consider is that some schools Superscore the SAT only.

thanks for any tips/opinions guys.

i strongly recommend you to focus on act .... it's harder to imrove your sat score ...

I'd probably retake both if I were you. Science on the ACT is really unpredictable which is why I think you should also take the SAT again as bakcup just in case you don't improve your ACT.

I'd go for the ACT and just take a gazillion science tests, focusing on the pace. You can probably raise it to 30+.

Hmm... well i'm not exactly how much the concurrence chart actually translates to schools view of scores.
UF (florida) honors college now has a requirement of: 2070 SAT or 33 ACT.

According to the ACT chart, a 31 is comparable to a 2060, a 33 to a 2180.
:/
