ACT or SAT???!!!

I have a question: I took the SAT and got 2170: 740 V 740 WR 690 M
i also took the ACT with writing and got a 32
Penn says that when applying ED it is ok to turn in the ACT with writing in lieu of the SAT and SAT II's
Does that mean i can just turn in the SAT and the ACT without any SAT II's?

Is that bad?

Yeah it is, the SAT1 is superfluous. Penn says either submit
1. The ACt with writing, or
2. SAT1 + SAT2s

Pick one option. I'd say go with the ACT (choice number 1) because it will be a pain to have to take a bunch of SAT2s to meet the requirements of choice number 2.

better double check... sometimes the wording is confusing and the college means either the SAT1 or ACT, but they want SAT2s regardless. i don't know about Penn, but just make sure

U Penn requires one of the following combinations:

SAT + SAT IIs

ACT

You did well on both of your tests, but better on the SAT. You could actually send in both your SAT and ACT (they would look at and consider both) and that alone would meet their testing requirements.

thanks taw, i think you're right....

Another ACT/SAT question: I took the ACT without writing...and got a 36. My SAT I is a 2260 (800 CR/730 M/730 W), and I haven't taken SAT IIs yet, but I'm confident I can end up with a few 750+ scores at least. My questions are: Should I bother retaking anything? Should I send in my ACT with my SAT? Should I simply retake the ACT and hope for a second lightning strike (ACT scores usually GO DOWN in retakes)?
