Which one is harder? SAT or ACT?

Depends on your thinking level, if you are the one in class sleeping and still making all As, then SAT is better, but if you are the one in class paying attention to the teacher, take the ACT (ACT is based in school learning, while SAT is based on understanding of knowledge)

I think the SAT is harder just because it's trickier. It has a lot of built-in traps. The ACT is much more straight-forward. The SAT seems to test how well you take the SAT, but the ACT is a better test of your actual abilities.

You have to actively decipher the SAT...which translates into hours and hours of studying (at least for us mere mortals). So...I opted to take the ACT. You really just have to tak a couple of practice tests for the ACT.

i found the act to actually be a lot more time consuming, but the questions to be much more straightforward
