I've heard that WashU superscores both the SAT and the ACT. I'm wondering which score is better.

A 33 superscored ACT (35E, 34M, 30R, 31S, 10 essay)
after taking 2 tests and scoring: 35E, 31M, 28R, 30S= 31C, and 33E, 34M, 30R, 31S= 32C

or

A 2170 superscored SAT (770 CR, 690 M, 710 W, 9 essay)
after taking 2 tests and scoring: 770CR, 690M, 690W and then 680CR, 690M, 710W)

Are the two similar? Or does one stand out as better?

Thanks! :)

i think you should just send both, the more the better. Besides, both scores are good for washU

My D had similar scores and sent both. That being said, they will only look at what they consider the better scores anyway (probably the ACT given the lower Math on the SAT)

Does Washington U superscore ACT like you stated above?

Yes, WashU superscores the ACT… that’s why I was asking which was better, ha.
