I'm taking the ACT on oct 25 (2 weeks from now), and on my practice tests i keep getting 33-34. Is a 33 good enough for places like northwestern, brown, bu, nyu, rice, stanford, usc, uc's, etc?? I'm trying for a 35, though. Also, what looks better, a 34 on the act or a 2130 on the sat?

COME ON GUYS

lol..

it’s good enough for get u a shot but u want to be even higher to be more competitive

34 on the ACT is definitely better. The chart on wiki shows a comparison of SAT scores between ACT scores…and a 34 is equivalent to a 2280-2330 on the SAT. Go with the ACT, and try to get a 35, you’ll definitely get into your reach schools.

^well not def
Stanford and Brown see 35’s all the time
however, a 35 will make u very competitive
