ACT Practice tests and books

Hi, does anyone have some links for practice tests? The only thing I have is my preparation booklet from earlier this year.
Also, what books do you recommend?
I took it once without any studying or preparation and did terrible (25) because the only section I actually finished was writing (30), so I really need to work on my timing.
Any other tips would be great! Thanks

I would recommend buying The Princeton Review to review needed skills for the ACT, and The Real ACT Prep Book for five real practice tests. The Princeton 1,296 Practice Questions is also another viable option if you want more practice.

Make sure you time yourself when you take practice tests.

Sparknotes has a few free tests as well; I haven’t used them, but the general consensus on College Confidential is that they’re accurate. Princeton Review is great for materials, and you may want to scout out “Cracking the ACT” for strategies (although they’re not universally great).
