I took that ACT blind back in June and scored a 28. Since then I’ve done review and taken the practice tests in the Kaplan review book. I’ve been scoring around 32 on these. Should I expect to score better or worse on the actual test?
To be as prepared as you can be, I’ve heard it’s safer to assume that you’ll get a lower score on the actual test. People say you usually score like 2 points lower than what you score at home, due to the nerves and silly mistakes. It didn’t happen for me, at least not on ACT. But it did happen for me for SAT so I guess the saying is right…
