ACT Practice

Does anyone have any tips or resources that can give me the best and most realistic practice for the ACT? The best books/sites? I have taken both the ACT and SAT and have decided to stick with the ACT and take the September and October tests. Can anyone give me any tips for the ACT English and Reading sections? I do very well in English class and have taken the AP Lang exam and even got a 4, but I only got 26. The format on the ACT English seems a little strange to me, and I struggled trying to adjust to that in the tight time restriction. Does anyone have any strategies that helped them on this section?

@futuredoc96 its all about practice exams. Get “The Real ACT Prep Guide” aka “The Red Book” which is the one that the ACT organization publishes and the only one that has actual former exams. Take the practice exams, study the right answers, and your score will improve.

That’s the single most important piece of advice. After that, ■■■■■ these forums for lots more good advice on reading, english, etc.

Some other practice exams (released by Princeton) I’ve found to be similar to the actual test are here:
