any help on going from a 28 to 36?
i got the 28 without studying. i have barrons and REal act and will take on oct 25th. just started studying" studying if you know what i mean

I would use Cracking the ACT instead of Barron's. It has the best tips and tests. But also of course use the real ACT book too.

it's gonna be really hard to go directly to 36, but if you really study i'm sure you have a good shot. just make sure you do all the practice tests and study for the sections that you're not good at. yea don't use barrons...it's not that great for act.

little unrealistic goal huh?...

ok? i got a 32 without any studying at all.. i would never say that with studying i could get a 36 though. only like 5 wrong on the whole test and you're screwed. i guarantee you you'll never get a 36.

Make sure to take it with writing.

I took the ACT last year twice, one in september and one in october (I think). First time around I got a 26. Then I read the official ACT prep book and took some tests and made SURE to time myself. Timing in my opinion is the most important thing in the ACT (and SAT too). I didn't really do any other studying though and got a 32 on the oct test.

Wow..to jump for a score of 28 to 36 is like impossible! nobody can raise their scores almost 10pts higher even if they studied really hard for it!! probably you can make to at least a 33, but definitely not a 36! By the way, a 28 is already pretty good, you don't have to retake it again. Well I used the REAL ACT prep book last time but it was really helpful. xD

wait i hear conflicting reports on barron's from others...
