ACT prep classes worth it?

will they help increase my score?

if so - which class should i go to? like princeton review...kaplan etc.

post please.

No prep class is ever worth it.

Honestly, the only thing the classes give you is motivation.

If you are already a good student…like A’s/B’s…and youre a good test-taker and have learned all the material present on the exam…then you just need to practice.

There might be a few good strategies…and a few things that classes go over, but youre going to be taught by usually an undergrad college student…who did well on the ACT, but its been a few years for em.

If you do take a class, although theyre expensive, id go Princeton. My kaplan classes were pretty bad… XD

If you dont take classes, just do a billion practice tests by yourself. I recommend Barron’s since they over-prepare you for it which is good. It’s pretty accurate on what you’ll do on the actual one if you take at LEAST 5+…but you have all summer =)

Enjoy
