I'm scheduled to take the February ACT test next month, and while I've been taking practice tests in the Real ACT Prep Guide (2nd edition) and Princeton Review's 1,296 practice questions, I'd really like to get a couple of books that explain the material a little more.

SO, having said that, what would you guys recommend?

I'd like to buy at least one book that covers all of the sections, but seeing as how I've been struggling with science and math the most, a good book focusing on those two would be great too.

Having said that though, I don't want to spend a lot of money, so I'd like to narrow down on some of these, or even get some cheaper suggestions.

Go with the RED ACT book. You can by the book used from Amazon, or check it out from your library. The ACT also offers a practice test booklet for free.

Is Mc-Graw Hill’s book Good for practicing for the ACT?
I am taking ACT this February and I am a sophomore. Can you please suggest any good Act books that might help me to increase my Reading score? As that is the most difficult section for me on the ACt!
