Alright I have a dilemma about sending in my ACT scores to colleges. Right now I have a 25 on my ACT but I am taking the test again on October 27th to see if I can do better. What would better my admission chances to getting into colleges with rolling admissions; sending my 25 score now or waiting the extra 3 weeks to send in a higher grade (probably 26-28)

Waiting for the higher grade, although I suppose that depends a little on how competitive the school is, how many people they accept, and how many apply. You can check into what the school's average ACT scores are and gauge accordingly.

Well I am currently looking at Penn State, SUNY Binghamton, UMiami and Indiana U as my top schools so far.

Then you should definitely wait for higher scores for Penn State and IU 'cuz their average ACTs are 26-30 and 26, respectively. Don't know about the others, but you could google 'em. You need those higher scores. You might consider taking the SAT also. The two tests are very different and you may find the SAT more suited to your learning/test-taking style. Of course, if you're a recruited athlete with a high GPA and your own NYSE listed business or have some other fabulous hook you could take your chances, but that would be risky.

Anyone else

I would wait and send the higher score.
