<p>Some schools let you take the ACT with the writing section and dont require the SAT Subject tests. How do schools use the ACT to compare it to SAT Subject test scores?</p>
<p>it's hard to compare. i would take both the act with writing and two sat subject tests to be safe. i know many schools that use ACT to replace only the SAT. not both sat and sat 2.</p>
<p>are the criteria the same for the ACT essay as the SAT one (very formulaic; intro, 2-3 body paragraphs, conclusion; etc)</p>
