ACT question

I took the ACT twice and got a 30 composite both times yet all my subscores (except english) changed. Does anybody know if they just look at the composite or if they take the best subscore in each subject and then just average it?

I'm not sure, but I think they take the highest subscores.

yeah..they look at the highest ones...

Very few schools recalculate the ACT - they take the highest composite. I think that if Vassar did recalculate (or "superscore" as it's sometimes called), they would say so on their website.

I believe they take only the highest composite ACT, with or without writing.

You can also call or e-mail the admissions office for a definitive answer.

I e-mailed the admissions office and they said that they take the highest composite score, damn. Also, if anybody was wondering, if you send in both the act and sat, they only look at the one you did better on.
