This is a quick easy question. I have taken the ACT - Writing twice now, and I will be taking it for the last time this Saturday.
Does it matter that I don't take the writing section on this on, since I have already did the writing essay section twice before?
if i get a higher score (because I am studying this time) than my last two, will they count, and the writing score is seperate?
How does this work.

If you take it without writing this time, then you most likely will be forced to send at least one of your other scores since most schools require writing. Let' say you get 33 composite this time. Your previous scores were 27 and 28 with 10 essay. Why show your lower scores to schools? I would recommend taking writing again.

wait, but the previous ACT tests i sent it to my colleges (the last two times) and this is the third and maybe the final. so they already have my other scores, and that my includes my writing, meaning that they already have my writing score

dont worry if u got a low scores before, in fact, if u ask me, tats actually good, it shows how much u improved and studied. 28 -> 33 is a very good improvement, colleges will like u even more.

Please note that you do NOT have to send any of your ACT scores when you initially sign up for the ACT test even though they will send to some colleges for free as part of the service. Although this suggestion may be too late for some of you, there is a big advantage in controlling which specific test scores you will send to the colleges AFTER you see the results (even though it will cost you $ to send it later). I see this as another big advantage of the ACT over the SAT in my opinion (since ALL prior SAT scores are sent to the Colleges when the latest one is requested -- but that is not so for ACT).
