ACT question

I took 2150 in the SAT. But I want to ED at Cornell but the score is bad :(. I dont think SAT in November is early for Cornell. So I want to give a try on ACT this October. I have some questions.
1. 2 months practice + 2150 SAT, can I get 32-33 ACT?
2. Almost colleges require ACT with writing but I have taken SAT and got 11 essay, so can I take ACT without writing and also send the SAT because I dont want the writing section in ACT will lower my score?
3. Is the ACT essay harder than the SAT one?

Thank you

2150 is not bad.

One more question.
Can I receive the score first then decide to send the ACT score later to colleges? ( I will take it in October and will ED at Cornell) If is impossible, I may stick only to SAT :frowning:
@ webass: Does Cornell care SAT writing ? ( or just Math and CR because my CR is just 620 and My math is kind of Asian stereotype : 800) I once read on metaezra.com and see that below 650 Verbal hurts my chance a lot so… I plan to take SAT I on November but am afraid that it is toooo late for my ED plan:(

Anyone can suggest me some free ACT prep because my country dont take ACT lot–> not many prep books? I cant find any except for Spraknotes

if you have two months and ur smart enough to get 2150s on the SAT, u definitely can get 33 + unless u have no knowledge of science at all; I strongly believe that science knowledge helps A LOT for ACT science because it saves time… especially for passages that incorporate genetics, shm, quantum, or other complex stuff).

even though u have done sat essay, I would recommend doing act essay if it says that they require it lol… its not that bad anyway…

they’re about the same… act essay has 5 more minutes…
i think the act topics are better though because they are very straightforward whereas sometimes, u dont really know what to write for the sat topics…

And question 4 ? Anyone? Does Cornell care SAT writing? And any free ACT sources I may get
