Hello everyone! I started prepping a few days ago for the ACT. I have a ~2200 on SAT. I thought discussing reading questions would be useful. I looked at my first reading section today. I've noticed that it's much more onerous than SAT CR - but in some ways easier as the questions are much more straightforward.

This is what I looked at: http://achievementcenter.wikispaces.com/file/view/ACT+booklet+2007+2008.pdf
This is an official practice test. And yeah I was too lazy to print it out or anything so I just looked at it on the screen while timing myself...

The key is at the end.

Aside from discussing the specific answers on this test, does anyone have any useful advice of their own to offer to a greenhorn? :) Any discrepancies in terms of strategy/though-process I should know about between SAT and ACT? Or are they pretty much the same?
