I have been doing many practice tests for reading yet my score does not improve. I get 1 or 2 wrong in each passage but then when it comes to humanities i get about 6 or 7 wrong!!

How can I improve my score in the Humanities passage?

look for patterns in the questions you keep getting wrong so that you can identify that kind of question and answer it correctly, or at least have a better idea of what the right answer may be.

When I do humanities, I take 30 seconds per passage to glance over for key words, underlining them. If it’s a reference as in this word in line 30 etc, then i just put a star on it so i know i can ignore it for then. I then quickly skim over the passage, underlining the same keywords that stuck to me in the questions. Read for somewhat comprehension, but don’t READ it (so you can answer tone/mood questions). Then, when you go to the questions, you’ll already have made an answer key because you underlined the key words in the passage that correlate directly to the questions.
Hope this helps!
PS I use this method and have about 10 minutes left in reading each time, and I score around 35-36
