Act reading plz help

I am taking the ACT tomorrow and I just finished doing a practice test from PR 1296.
My results were 36,36,30,35!!
I don't get how to do reading. There's not enough time...Can anyone give me some advice so I can boost it up to 35?
PLZ Respond!

Hey Timmy hope you read this post in time but

For reading think of it very straight up
Since there’s less time on the reading section on the ACT than the CR reading on the SAT logically it makes sense it’s “easier” And by easier I mean that the answers are much easier to get. The only killer part on the ACT is that the time is really really short. Actually it’s about 8 minutes per passage.

So take the passages 1 at a time, 8 minutes each and remember that you’re reading to find the answer. Heck hit the line number problems first since those are the easiest…you literally just have to go to the line number and decipher what the line says and interpret it to get the answer. That sense sounds like a bunch of jargle, hope it made sense.

Lastly a huge tip is to start with a science passage first (passage III) and not the first one (prose and fiction) which is much longer and abstract…

Good luck Timmy, looks like you’re going to own this thing
