ACT reading/science help?

I have been working through the reading and science sections of the ACT and I always run out of time.
On the reading section I run of out time with about 2-4 questions still unanswered.
On the science section I barely finish on time.

For the reading section I just look at the questions to see if there are any line references and then I go back to the passage and highlight those areas. Then I just read through and answer the questions. Basically the strategy I use for the SAT.

For the science section I just look at the questions and then I simply just answer them according to the graphs, figures, and experiments.

Do you recommend anything that I should do to improve my time management skills?

For science, save the “fighting scientists” questions until the end. Those are the ones with different theories and have seven questions.

As for reading, I prefer just reading it straight through without looking at the questions first.
