Act reading

hey
i'm having a really hard time on the ACT reading. I am not really a fast reader, and when I do read a passage fast, I forget what I read when I answer the questions. If I read at my own pace, I lose a lot of time. So I really do not know what to do. I was thinking of a strategy that might work... Take more time on the humanties and fictions question, and read at my own pace, since the questions are about inferring and since you really have to think about the passage. And on the natural science and social, maybe i can read 2 paraagraps then fing the questions pertaining to those 2 paragreahs, then read the next two paragrahs, and do the same thing. Do you think this will save time? Do you think this is a good strategy, since the natural and social sciene are basically on facts? if you can give some more tips that would also by great! Thank you!

woah sorry about my spelling errors! Hopefully you can understand my question
