ACT: Same composite scores - different subscores. Which one?

<p>I took the ACT twice, each time receiving a 32 overall score.</p>

<p>The first time I took it back in Spring I had
33 English 30 Math 34 Reading 29 Science 10 Writing Subscore 32 English/Writing</p>

<p>The more recent time I took it I had
33 English 32 Math 32 Reading 30 Science 8 Writing Subscore 30 English/Writing</p>

<p>So, compared to the first time my newest scores went up +2 in Math, -2 in Reading, +1 in Science, and -2 in Writing.
Which is the better test to report? </p>

<p>What’s your intended major? If it’s a STEM major, the second one might be better.</p>
