I got a 35 on the ACT and am applying to a school that doesn't require SAT subject tests (but will consider them if submitted) for those who take the ACT, would scores of 780 on chem and 790 on Math II strengthen or hurt the "standardized test scores" portion of my application if I chose to send them?

Those are excellent scores and they would only improve your application.

thanks! .

Yes, those scores will definitely not hurt any application. What you should consider instead is if you want to spend the extra money to send your subject tests =P

You should definitely send them. They’re great scores. They can only help and can’t hurt one bit. (And it’d definitely be worth the money to send them, too.)

thanks guys! I guess it’s just all the posters on here who are disappointed with a 790 on Math II (or other comparable solid scores) that are getting to my head and making me think my scores are bad

yeah, CC has a way of doing that to you! ;-)
