With the SATIIs comment, I just meant that I have to send an SAT report to some schools because they require or 'recommend' SATIIs. So, even though I did better on ACTs, I'm sending SAT scores anyway because they're all together. But, Mich doesn't even look at SATIIs so it's not necessary to send the test you did worse on.

Not even important for the question, just wanted to explain myself. Hope I did!!

But I'm confused, you can send SAT IIs and ACT, can't you? Mixing and matching doesn't matter, does it? I think I saw one school in my research that made you take ACT or SATI and IIs but most will accept either and then require SAT IIs, don't they?

I don't think you necessarily have to send your SATs just because you're also submitting SAT IIs.

The SATII scores and SAT scores are all on the same report. If you have any SAT/SATII scores sent to a school by the College Board, any SAT/SATII test you've taken will show up. They do not allow you to hide scores or only send one type. If you've taken both, both will be sent, and if you've taken any multiple times, all scores will be sent. This is why there is no separate "send scores" option for SATIIs. It's all together.

With that said, most schools do allow either the ACT or SAT, so if you took one or the other they substitute for each other. You can take both too, like I did. Most schools also recommend SATIIs so no matter what, you'll need to sent the College Board's score report.

Hope this clears that up!! If not leave another message.
