ACT scholarships?

My guidence counselor told me that I can get a scholarship if I do very well on the ACTs. I unforunatly did not ask him for the specifics. Anyone know anything about this?

basic merit scholarships???

Some states give out Robert Byrd scholarships based primarily on ACT scores, but the rules vary from state to state. Check the rules for your state - try an internet search for 'Robert Byrd Scholarship [your state]' .

Some schools give scholarships based on ACT scores. I know my daughter's safety offered some money based on that.

I think if a school has something like this, they will tell you in their materials.

I think they might have been referring to those basic merit scholarships. Some schools (I think the smaller/less prestigious they are, the more true this is) offer scholarships/tuition if you get a semi-decent score (26+) and attend their college/university.. it's like a recruitment tool.
