I'm taking the ACT in the April and i SUUUCCKKKK at science. I want to excel in all subjects. How in the world do i study for science? What books helped you the best? And also, is the math almost the same on the SAT and the ACT? or should I buy separate books for the math part? AHH, HELPPPP

Do the Princeton Review’s 1296 questions. Their science section is pretty good.

The math section on the ACT is more straightforward.

In April, I got a 32 Composite, with a 31 in Science and Reading.

Over the summer, and may and june, I read a LOT of books. I read 18th and 19th century books, focusing on Dickens and Austen. I didn’t do any ACT specific preparation i.e going through prep books, etc.

In the September ACT, I scored a 35 composite with a 35 in science (4 point increase) and 33 in Reading (2 point) increase. I think reading really helped a lot because I was able to read faster and my general reading comprehension ability increased and I am able to understand passages faster.
