I took the ACT in October and got a rather disappointing score of 31. The biggest problem was my science section which was a 28 so I signed up for the December test and studied for the science section exclusively. Well that was a very stupid mistake on my part as I received a 30 on the December test. I already submitted my scores to the UC’s and Northeastern University. Will this look very bad on my application or am I worrying about nothing? Also I gave the UC’s an official report of the test but never mentioned it on my my application, should I update that or leave it?
Schools will typically look at the score that will benefit you the most. Northeastern actually superscores, so you might have a higher score.
You’ll be fine.
Ok, Thanks for the reassuring news
Your strategy was sound.
