ACT score Dilemma

Hi everyone.
On my UC application I saidI was planning on taking the December ACT; I did, but I bombed it, got a freaking 28, science killed me=( lol. Since my SAT is a 2000, my ACT score is much worse. Do I have to send my ACT score to UC? if i chose not to, do i have to notify each UC, if so what should i even tell them? im afraid a 28 is going to make my application look even worse..sigh

Thanks everyone in advance!

lol doesnt science kill everyone? You should be fine though, as long as they were/will be sent an SAT official score report.

lol yeah 21 in science. but will UC be mad if they are waiting for my act score, but doesnt get any?

Hey a 28 is fine. I know a girl last year who got a 25 and was accepted. They don't loook too very hevily on the ACT cause it is one day in your four years of high school. (I am assuming that UC=University of Chicago.)
I bombed too. (Very bad day. Plus Science = 27) I got in EA.

It won't hurt to send it in, since they take the highest score in whatever you do.

Thanks; but i applied to 6 UCs(university of California) i really don't want to spend 60 bucks to send a really crapy score lol. Would UCs penalize me for not sending?

You have to send some scores, even if they are bad. If they already have ones and are expecting new ones, it is okay not to send the new ones.

eff u, i was pleasantly surprised with my 28! :(

i already send out all my SAT scores, but this is my first ACT, do i have to send it ? thanks

No, unless you used the ACT to opt out of subject tests..or the admissions has a random request for the ACT.
