I got my ACT (a composite 32) but the average of the 4 subscores (35 on english 33 on math 30 on reading and 31 on sci) is 32.25. I have been under the impression that these ".25" averages round up to the next whole number (33). Do I deserve a 33 or am I just an misinformed idiot?

You do know about rounding right?
You round up when it is .5 or above,
.49 and below you round down.

Sorry, I didn’t really answer the Q.
Your score of 32 is correct. Nice job though! A 32 is outstanding.

yes I am well aware of the mathematical rules of rounding. Some part of me was hoping that ACT didn’t follow those rules. Thanks for clearing it up.
