Don’t send the October score.

the only advantage would be the writing score right? or a 2 point increase doesnt even matter?

Send to whom? Does the college superscore? Really see no benefit in sending it. They won’t tell you this but it could work against you as some schools will do an average on scores. It won’t help and could hurt. We were told to never send the cores until after you knew them and then pick the best. Of course if they superscore pick the best of each score and send those scores.

I know the scores suck. I plan on retaking the ACT in December. The September scores got sent to the following colleges for Early Action: UNC chapel hill, NCSU, UVa, Umiami, and Northeastern.

The colleges do superscore the ACT but when the composite will still be the same regardless of superscore. Same 26 composite but just 2 points higher writing and english.

bump? urgent!

Check your colleges’ 25-75 range for scores. If your English and writing would be in it from October, then send it. If not, don’t.
