My daughter must be one of the exceptions -
1980 SAT
27 ACT ( she had a 34 on the verbal part but did poorly on the math and science)

New scores

ACT 33
SAT 2110

Act: 34
Sat: 2260

act: 33
sat: 1400/1600

pretty close, according to a "converter" i remember looking up, a 33 act is equivalent to a 1470 on the old sat.

no,no I didn't take it!

32 and 2070... i think my act looks better

I have a question, do certain colleges REQUIRE the ACT or is it more of an option of taking either the SAT or ACT ???

ACT: 30
SAT: 1640

Yep...Huge gap.

Ok, am I the only one who seems to have more trouble on the ACT than the SAT? I got a 2210 on the SAT (690 CR, 740 M, 780 W), yet I seem to do so terrible on like the science and pretty bad on the English (of the ACT). The english just seems so much easier to make a mistake on, and both the science and reading have such short time limits. On the ACT english, I can get anywhere from a 31 to a 35, but not consistently high. The reading I could theoretically get a 36 on if I could only carefully read the passages.

ACT: 32
SAT: 2010

In oklahoma, we're just conditioned to take the ACT.

I did.

SAT : 2330
ACt : 33 (retaking next saturday)

Somehow my scores were lost in the system and I dont know how i can get them and i have no clue of what i have, so if there is anyone who can tell me a site or help me recover my scores i would appreciate it

can anyone tell me how to recover my acy scores

can anyone tell me how to recover my acy scores

Wanda4444, would like to help, but don't know what you mean by your scores being "lost in the system" and that you can't retrieve them. If you mean the April 14 scores, my D just got hers in the mail this past Saturday. I was told after much complaining that they would all be "mailed" by June 2. Have you tried the web site www.actstudent.org ? that's where I found all their phone #'s, email, etc. Hope this helps

Wanda4444, my S had a similar problem on Dec. test. Had something to do with Match-ID number indicating that he had registered without social security number, but he HAD entered ss number on his test. Scores were missing for months, by which time he had re-taken the test and gotten a higher score, anyway. Very frustrating. You should call ACT, and if the person you speak with can't help, call back. It took us 7 or 8 phone calls to straighten it out. Good luck.

You better work hard for that 36!!! ;)
