ACT Scores dropping..? Taking April 12th ACT HELP

My Average ACT Score now is ..
Before:
English:33, Math:31, Reading:30, Science:28

After:
English:30, Math:34, Reading:26, Science:22

Why are my scores decreasing?! Do I need to practice each section a day to keep my average or am I doing something wrong? I am scared about the April 12th ACT...

You were probably pressured on this ACT test or something. Were these scores “Before” based on practice tests? Usually, test content is always different. So, it really varies most of the time. Plus, it’s also on the account whether if you were relaxed, calm, and ready for the test.

Though, in terms of why your scores are decreasing, there is no way I can help. Essentially, practice does help, but, practicing each day is a bit of an overkill in my mind. I would probably want to focus the most on specific sections that you are struggling (so in this case Reading and Science). Try taking practice on those two sections, figure out what’s wrong, figure out why you are wrong, and try to figure out to see what you can do next time so you won’t get it wrong.

And yes, I’m rather scared about the April 12th ACT as well. But, really, I think a factor that determines your score is confidence. If you don’t have enough of that, don’t be surprised for a low score. Plus, I would completely rest on the night before.
