ACT Scores for Colleges

When I registered, I put down some of the schools that I was planning on sending my ACT scores to. But as far as I've heard, you only have to show your best score if you take the ACT several times. Does that mean that I have to somehow cancel sending my scores to these schools? Or can I just re-send newer, better scores later, and have them consider those?

Bump.

Anyone?

The college will only see your top ACT score at the time you submit an application, I believe. So if you haven't actually submitted an application the college will not consider the scores.

You can choose which ACT scores to send, unlike the SAT.

When you send the SAT, all of the scores are sent, so if you took the SAT twice, the adcom will see both of them and "Superscore" or take the highest of each subject area for your SAT score.

For the ACT, you can choose which administration to send, so you decide which scores to show the colleges you are applying to, BUT they do not "superscore" if you send more than one administration.

Cool. Thanks.

Also, Chris_C, I sent you a PM.
