Hello,

I am an international student, and I was wondering how the ACT affects my admission, if an international student score on the lower end of the range expected? Do colleges consider that the student is not very familiar with standardized testing? Will it greatly affect my chances of admission? What is the case especially for Liberal arts colleges? By the way I am not planning to ask for financial aid, nor am I applying to a top 10 school.

Thanks,

That’s a good question. I have the same problem.

I scored 32 on october ACT (26, 36, 32, 33). It’s the low english score that affected my composite score the most. But I’m international and have never been in an english-speaking country.
Unfortunately, I need financial aid. I applied to Dartmouth College ED.
