I recently received my ACT scores that I took in December this year. I was pretty happy to learn i had earned a 34. However, my breakdown was rather strange:
35 english
34 math
34 reading
33 science
Although a composite 34 is consistent with my practice, I'm usually much better at math and science and worse at english and reading.
Since my math and science aren't as high as I hoped, would this still be a sufficient score for a competitive program like the EECS engineering program at UC Berkeley? Obviously I'm aware test scores do not mean everything, but they are certainly something.

Those are fine.

Those are definitely good enough, don’t worry.

Thanks for the responses! Do you think it would be worth retaking, or do you think it wouldn’t really affect anything? Also, I don’t know if it’s worth mentioning, but I’m out of state.

You can certainly be rejected. But it won’t be because you didn’t get a better ACT score. That’s absurd. Do something more constructive with your Saturday like helping your parents with chores around the house.

OOS students pay full fees at the UCs. Can you afford these fees? $55-60k per year.
