Hello, my son's SAT I and II scores fall below the published minimum of 650 for almost all them. He got 620 Reading, 640 Writing and 700 Math. SAT II scores were 610 for Math I and 620 for Am. History. However, all ACT scores exceed the published minima. All scores were sent. Should he not have sent the SAT scores?

FWIW, his high school transcript grades are great, 95/100 average unweighted, 99 weighted with highest level courses and 5 AP courses. He's in the top 5th percentile, American public high school. Any insight out there?

Algiemom, I too, will be interested to read the replies to your post. I have also wondered about the necessity/wisdom of sending SAT scores at all if the ACT score is much better. The McGill website does say, though, that ALL scores must be sent – does this mean scores from every SAT, SAT subject and ACT test you’ve ever taken, or only all SITTINGS from whichever test(s) (ACT or SAT) that you choose to use?

BTW, to which faculty did your son apply? Wishing him the best of luck!!

however, don’t send in unnecessary scores. You shouldn’t have send in the SAT scores, unless mcgill specifically asks for it (Depending on the program, they sometimes ask for SAT II scores).

Econgrad, if you choose to send your ACT over your SAT, but McGill requires SAT II scores, can you then send ONLY SAT II scores, and not your SAT I score? Or do you then have to send ALL SAT scores, including the SAT I?
Thanks!
