ACT Scores not being recieved by school

Hi everyone!

I have submitted an application to UMD (Go Terps!) and was reviewing my application checklist when I noticed that the ACT score I submitted had not been received. I sent the score several weeks ago and double checked to make sure the ACT code I selected when sending it was correct (it was). I would have assumed the ACT had not sent the scores yet but the two other schools I’m applying to (whom I sent the same score to in the same order) have both already received the score. Should I be worried that 1/3 of the schools I sent the scores to has not received it and if so what should I do? UMD is somewhat strict when it comes to test scores (they must be sent before November 1st in order to be considered) so I am kind of nervous. If someone has been through this or has any advice regarding this it would be much appreciated!!

Hey fellow TErp app. We had the same problem with my daughters SAT scores. A friend had the same problem with the AC T scores. Apparently Maryland lost a batch somehow. We’ve been told to call college board first tomorrow and find out the date and batch number that was sent to Maryland for your score and then Call Maryland. I plan on calling college board first thing tomorrow. Unbelievable that they did not figure this out before today but I would make these calls or have your parents make them

You’re welcome. I should clarify call the ACT company. College board is where i will call for SAT.

Hey fellow terp. I just called Maryland admissions and they were able to check that my daughters score had been received. They are very nice on the phone. 3013148385.
