ACT Scores on BuzzPort (Applied EA)

I recently applied EA to Georgia Tech. I had sent in my ACT test scores from the test I took in April. However, when I logged into “BuzzPort”, it shows my ACT test date to be April 1, 2015 when it actually was April 18, 2015. For the May SAT I took, as well as the subject tests, the dates are correct (May 2nd and June 6th respectively). I don’t think it should be an issue, but I just wanted to make sure. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Also, I was curious as to why GT doesn’t consider ACT Reading or Science scores (especially since those were my two best sections haha). I couldn’t find any specific reasons, so I was just wondering. I’m assuming either more volatility or they’ve found those two sections don’t really prove as much?

Thanks!

Just as many schools look at 2 score SAT, a few also look at the English+Math ACT for the sake of consistency. Tech’s admission stats for CR/E + M are considerably higher than that of other subjects.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah that’s what I figured. I actually like that the ACT has the Science section, but oh well not a big deal. Do you know if the inconsistency in the dates is an issue?

I emailed the Ga Tech admissions a while back and they informed me that they would be using all scores this year, but they said they would put a greater emphasis on the English and math
