ACT scores

Hey guys,

I have taken the ACT without writing on oct 27th and ill receive my scores in 2 weeks.
Obviously, i need to take the ACT again with the writing section in december. But then, the scores for that will only come out in 2-5 weeks and the regular decision deadline for Carnegie Mellon is on Jan 1st.

I feel hopeless. Will I still be considered with the ACT scores without the writing until the december test date scores come out?

Help me out with this please!

Carnegie like most colleges with early Jan app deadlines accepts the Dec ACT although it arrives after Jan 1.

It is right there on their website:
"SAT Reasoning Test, ACT with Writing, SAT Subject Tests

Carnegie Mellon requires either the SAT Reasoning Test or ACT with Writing from every applicant. We also require Subject Tests from most applicants (taken junior or senior year)—please see our Subject Test requirements by college/school. Please plan on taking these tests **no later than December **of your senior year."
