I have taken my ACTs multiple times, and I wanted to know how big of an impact it would make on Penn if I send all of my scores. I know that Penn requires all of my scores to be sent, but do they really know how many times I have taken the ACTS? Do you think it would be beneficial or disastrous if I send all five of my scores? Could I just send Penn two of my best scores? And would Penn know if i've taken the test multiple times? thanks.

You are required to send all your scores.

If I have taken the ACT five times, would that look unfavorably to Penn?

I have no idea–I’m a fellow application, not an admissions officer!

Personally, though, five times does seems a bit excessive, but I don’t know your exact situation or your exact scores. I don’t know if Penn will think badly of you for taking it five times. It really depends, I’d think.

Penn may have a way of knowing how many times you took the test, or at least if they received 100% of your tests or not. Better to send them all or you might have a problem.

Same goes with lists of honors, etc. Universities can rescind offers if they find out later that their rules haven’t been followed.
