ACT scores...

I want to use my ACT score instead of my SAT score for my application (applying fall '06). the only thing is, I didn't take the writing. is that a problem? does chicago require the essay portion?

thanks!

no it doesnt require writing and if your act is good enough, they will recognize it

oh wait after searching their website, i found the answer...

"Have official SAT Reasoning or ACT scores sent to the University of Chicago. . . . If you choose to submit ACT scores, we do not require the optional essay component."

big sigh of relief. i got a 2080 on SAT but a 34 on ACT, so thats why it matters to me...

thx jjjjj... for some reason i wasnt able to post because it kept on saying "server is busy..."

is anyone else experiencing this?

everybody's getting 'server is busy'
