ACT scores

Are colleges really telling the truth when they say that I should send in more than one ACT score (not just the highest score)? They say that it won't count against me, but are they just trying to find out what your true ability is? (by the way my highest score is 2 points better than my next one)

I wouldn't send it in...
It can't possibly hurt you, because they're are plenty of people who only take the ACT once (and they obviously can't send in a 2nd score).

Though most colleges use for admission that ACT test with the highest composite score, there are some that use the highest section scores from multiple tests. One question you need to find the answer to is whether the particular college that is asking for all ACT scores is in that latter group.
