I've taken the ACT two times. My first time, I got a composite score of 30: 34 on English, 28 in Math, 30 in Reading, and 28 in Science. The second time, I got a composite score of 30 again: 35 in English, 34 in Math, 26 in Reading, and 25 in Science. Should I take the ACT a third time?
Does Penn take the highest composite score or the highest score in each section?

Highest composite, and unless you have some hook Definitly! take it again.

I’m in the same boat.
Does anyone know if the Oct. 23rd ACT scores would be able to be considered for ED?

^yes. I know for the SAT, you can even take the november exam if you rush scores.

October is fine. Even November SAT is fine if the scores are rushed.

Will a 29 composite (36 reading, 30 english, 25 math and 24 science) mean an automatic rejection?

I got a 33 the first time, but the second time I got a 28. :(

How will they see this? would they just consider the best one?

However, I did score better on the writing the second time

Does Penn require all scores to be sent? Just send your 33 for sure. I got a 30 then 31 and finally a 33. However my science scores were very very varied.
