What is the curve/scoring for math usually like?

More specifically, what is the score for -1, -2, and -3?

can anyone tell me how many C’s were there is last column cause i had to guess most of the last column? XD

M+n=mn said positive integers though.

So that means 2 is the only number that could satisfy that

So the answer is 1

What did everyone get for the m+n=mn question?

did m and n have to be 2 different numbers?
cuz i think i screwed it up.

@Imdad Im pretty sure it didn’t say positive integers…it just said integers

Did it really say positive… Ugh I didn’t see that. I put 2 because I thought of 0,0 and 2,2.

EDIT: Maybe there’s hope! That would mean I only completely misread 1 question this year.

I, personally, put 2 for the m+n=mn question. But now my mind is mixing up all of it and I can’t remember what the parameters for the pairs were.

M and N said distint numbers, meaning two different numbers. so it’s 0

nope it said positive integers im 100% sure its fresh in my mind… and im pretty sure it didnt mention they have to be different. if it did then the answer is 0

For the m + n = mn, I can say with certainty that the question stated positive integers.

However, there seems to be some confusion about whether or not m and n had to be distinct. Does anyone know about that? I assumed they were asking for distinct ordered pairs as opposed to distinct m and n.

@Overide
What was the area of the triangle in that problem?

Guys, let’s get a consolidated list of questions and answers so we aren’t all asking the same stuff over and over! :)

I’m pretty sure that it said distinct because I remember considering putting B since 2 would be the only satisfying answer, but then I rereead the question and changed it to 0

It said distinct integers. I’m positive

If it’s distinct, wouldn’t 1 and 2 satisfy the equation?

Then the answer is 0. That is -1 for me then on math. Maybe -2 since I put ‘not enough information’ for the question with the shapes.

What about the square that was set in the parallelogram? I thought the ratio would be 1:3 (which wasn’t an answer), so I marked 3:7 merely because it visually fit.

no because 1 + 2 does not equal 2

3:7 because the areas were 9 and 21 (the square was 3x3 and the parallelogram was 7x3)
