ACT standby instructions

I'm registering to re-take the ACT at actstudent.org. Through the process of selecting test date, it seems like the only date I'm aable to register for is June 13. Though I also read about possible standby instructions to take the upcoming test April 4. If I plan to do the standby instructions, do I still register online? Do I just register paper forum only, and show up on the April 4th testing date? Possible way to know what testing center have open spots? I really would like to re-take the ACT as soon as possible.

I wasn't inform that registeration for April 4th testing date, or even may was needed to be done so early.

No I really don't think there's any way of knowing what test center will have open spots. But I don't see why you just can't wait till the June date, I mean if you're a senior you don't even to take this anymore and if you're a junior then you would still have more chances to take it even if you messed up in June. They're only gonna charge you more money for really no reason. But if you insist, just show up to the test center with the paper forms filled out and they MIGHT have extras and let you take it.

Yeah I guess I'm just going to wait until June 13, when I'll be a official senior. Just taking it sooner would give me a better ideal of my chances being accepted into universities.
