ACT Standby--registration packet??

Okay so I want to take the ACT on Saturday as a standby...but my school is on spring break right now so I can't get a registration packet. FML. I ordered a packet from ACT, but it said allow 7-10 business days and I only have 5.....any ideas??

They should have them there (on site) for you to fill out.

Oh do they usually? The lady I talked to from the testing site was pretty adamant about me bringing my own registration packet. But hopefully they’ll have some there…

So what happened? did they have a registration packet? I’m in the same boat right now…

Here is the info from the Supervisor’s Manual: (p. 37).

"Standby examinees are not registered, so a sealed, completed registration packet must be collected at the test center to ensure their answer documents can be scored. Under no circumstances can a standby examinee test without first providing you with a sealed, completed registration packet. It is not the staff’s responsibility to provide packets on test day or help examinees complete them, and you must not do so if it will delay testing.

COMPLETED REGISTRATION PACKET: Registration materials advise the examinee to bring a completed registration folder, sealed in the registration return envelope with his or her name and address clearly printed in the return address box. They are also advised that if they do not turn one in, they will not receive test scores - evern if they are inadvertently admitted and allowed to test.

DO NOT ACCEPT UNSEALED PACKETS OR LOOSE CONTENTS.
DO NOT OPEN A PACKET TO CHECK CONTENTS.

It looks like the only way to get a registration packet is to get one from your high school counselor – if your test center is AT a high school, even if it’s not yours, you could probably get one there.

I am not sure if the test centers or test center supervisors have them or not.
