I got my April 2013 test scores back recently. My score stands as a 26 (which I know is low for this forum). But I would love to get some help with a study plan to help me raise this score.
My Scores: English 27 Math 24 Reading 28 Science 24

Do you know when you will be taking it again? After summer?

In July. I have 3 more shots till scholarship deadlines in December.

Any idea how long you can spend on staying each day?
Try to study a section a day and taking tests in weekends?
Also, act has question of day too so maybe do that everyday?
Seems like science and math are the Lowest. Try to just use a prep book and study math( maybe start with your lowest sub score in math) and science really is just looking and data and interpreting it but it just has a very short time so the best thing would be just practicing. Oh also do you read the passages? I usually skim them just barely and that works better for me. If you don’t know which would work better then try taking two tests, one where you read and one where you skim and compare? It’s not a really exact thing and the topics and difficultly varies but it could give you a good idea.

This link might help

[ACT Question of the Day for Saturday, May 4, 2013](ACT Test Preparation | Test Prep Resources | ACT) for Question of the Day… And are you the type of person who struggles/takes time doing math problems? I would study how to do certain problems and just print out math sections of practice ACTS and do those. If you are willing to drop 16-20 Dollars on princeton review books, I WOULD HIGHY RECOMMEND THOSE!

[Test Prep | ACT Student](<a href=“ACT Test Preparation | Test Prep Resources | ACT”>ACT Test Preparation | Test Prep Resources | ACT) and click on QOTD. i think my link only goes to May 4th…

With the math I do have some trouble. I have as much time as needed(for studying). I really just need a good study method to bulk up on everything!

I guess I was born to be good at math…(I am asian) The couple of things I posted are the only ways I can think of.

Buy yourself 2 of those ACT prep books, I finished those 2 books (just the practice tests, it’s useless looking over lessons) in about a week and got myself a 31 o-O

I kind of agree with bowchicapow. It may not be worth it to go over the lessons in all cases BUT math. You might have forgotten some concepts so I would go through and look at them.
When you do a practice test, make sure you go back and look at what you got wrong(otherwise its a bit pointless)

Get some books and study. I personally really liked 1269 act questions(Pr), mainly because it gives you explanations for every answer.
And used the real act book for practice too.
