so i have a schedule for the act to study 4-5 days a week a subject a day for an hour and i started last week but i didn’t stick to it. I will be taking the ACT in april and i want at least a 30, what should i do?
What is your “current” score for each section?
You still have 4-5 months. Try to stick to your plan.
thank you
Would you consider getting up early and getting it out of the way?
does that help if i wake up early? @HereToHelpYou

@neurolife16 for math, see if you can review any algebra/geometry/trig topics you are unfamiliar with - you still have plenty of time. Do lots of practice problems. For those problems you got wrong, try to figure out why you got them wrong, and find ways to eliminate those errors. Silly arithmetic mistake? Forgot one fact or theorem?
I’m not extremely familiar with the other sections - I only took the ACT once with barely any prep and don’t remember the other sections well enough to explain prep methods. I do remember that the test is pretty fast-paced, and pacing is extremely important. For math at least, I’ve scored 800/36, and have tutored or taught many of these topics before.
As for waking up early for additional studying, it’s probably more a matter of personal habit than anything. Another option is to do so right after getting home from school.
@neurolife16 most students are very busy after school. Try to get up 45 minutes early tomorrow and do 20 math problems with a review of what you got wrong. Sometimes the morning is the best time to study.
